Anno 117: Pax Romana Reveals Dawn of the Delta DLC for November

Ubisoft Mainz has officially unveiled Dawn of the Delta, the third and final downloadable content pack in the first-year season pass for its strategy simulation title Anno 117: Pax Romana. The developer released an introductory video detailing the expansion’s content. The DLC is expected to arrive in November 2026, launching simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms. According to the announcement, the pack will unlock a brand-new province and introduce gameplay mechanics tied closely to the Nile River, marking a notable shift in setting for the Roman-era city builder.
Dawn of the Delta will unlock Aegyptus, a brand-new province representing Egypt under Roman rule. The region is described as starkly different from the previously featured Latium and Albion, with vast deserts and the majestic Nile River combining to form a unique landscape. The Nile will play a central role in the DLC. Players must construct aqueducts and channel water for irrigation to transform desert wasteland into highly productive farmland, a mechanic that closely mirrors how ancient Egyptian civilization depended on the Nile’s flooding to bring fertile soil.

Beyond the desert environment and irrigation system, Dawn of the Delta introduces an entirely new resident population class. While governing this ancient land, players will face a key decision: respect the region’s long-standing Egyptian traditions or pursue a Romanization policy. The different governance paths will affect resident needs, architectural styles, and the production system. The DLC also adds new Egyptian deities for players to worship, along with military units that have not appeared before, further enriching strategic options across both land and sea.

Dawn of the Delta concludes the first-year season pass for Anno 117: Pax Romana. The first DLC, Prophecy of Ashes, arrived in April 2026 and added Sinis, the largest island in series history, to the Latium province alongside a volcanic disaster cycle and Vulcan worship. The second, The Hippodrome, followed in August 2026 with a massive structure inspired by the Circus Maximus and a full chariot racing system. All three are included in the season pass, so Gold Edition owners and pass holders unlock them without extra payment. Since its November 13, 2025 launch, the base game has earned an IGN 9/10 and a Metacritic score of 84. For strategy fans, this Egyptian chapter looks like a fitting send-off.
