Voice-Controlled Cat Game Magic Meow Launches Free Demo on PC
A new cooperative adventure game that lets players cast spells using their voice has arrived with a free demo release. Magic Meow (formerly known in Chinese as Miao Chu Fa Sui) is a whimsical multiplayer title where players take on the role of magical cats exploring floating islands. Instead of pressing buttons to cast spells, players speak into their microphone to unleash fireballs, tornados, and lightning strikes. The game also features a revival mechanic activated by a loud “Meow” sound, adding to the chaotic and lighthearted gameplay experience.
In Magic Meow, the microphone serves as the player’s staff. Speaking incantations such as “Fireball” or “Thunder Strike” triggers corresponding magical effects that affect all characters in the vicinity. The chaotic nature of voice-based casting means spells can accidentally ignite a teammate’s tail or, with the right timing, use levitation to catch a falling ally. The developers have designed the system to encourage lively communication and unpredictable moments of both triumph and disaster during gameplay sessions.
Up to four players can team up to explore brightly colored floating islands via hot air balloon, solving puzzles and dragging treasure using magic. The cooperative mode emphasizes teamwork through shared responsibilities and magical interactions. In addition to the cooperative questing, Magic Meow also includes a 3v3 arena mode where teams of cats compete in magical combat against one another. The game world features storybook-style environments and underground dungeons for players to discover together.
The free demo for Magic Meow launched on April 30, 2026 at 23:00 Beijing time on PC platform. Players can now access the demo to experience the voice-based combat and cooperative gameplay for themselves.
