Rubbish Artist Launches on PC: 6-Player Guess-and-Create Party Game
Perfect Day Studio and publisher Spiral Up Games have officially released Rubbish Artist (破烂艺术家), a multiplayer “you collage, I guess” party game now available on PC. The game, priced at ¥32 (~$4.50), comes with a 15 percent launch discount that brings it down to ¥27.20 (~$3.80) during the first two weeks after release. Designed so that even people who cannot draw can enjoy creating with friends, Rubbish Artist supports up to six players in online sessions, where everyday junk items are turned into imaginative collages for others to guess.
The core loop asks players to combine creativity and abstract thinking to assemble junk materials into works that others must identify. Beyond the standard mode, the game offers two additional variants: Shadows Only (只见影子), which relies on shape and silhouette, and One Item Only (只取一物), which limits creation to a single material. Both modes are designed to open up new possibilities for guessers and creators alike, keeping every session fresh and unpredictable.
As players progress, they unlock and collect a growing assortment of junk materials, ranging from old scarves and pot lids to roller skates and gears. Realist and abstract approaches are both supported, with tools for rotating, scaling, and even teleporting materials to bring creations to life. Friends can also add private jokes, shared catchphrases, and inside references into a custom word bank used for guessing rounds. After each match, players award red flowers to their favorite works, helping build a warm and creative community.
Alongside the launch, the game’s original soundtrack has been released and is being given away free to all players. A discounted bundle is also available, combining Rubbish Artist with Birdwatching Notes (观鸟笔记), Gun Bean (枪豆人), Doloko Town (多洛可小镇), Chinese Parents (中国式家长), and the studio’s earlier titles A Perfect Day (完美的一天) and Insomnia (失眠). The bundle adds a 10 percent discount on top of the launch offer, dropping the final price to ¥24.48 (~$3.40). An inviting premise at a budget-friendly price makes this an easy pick for friend-group game nights.
