Pokemon-Themed Sweets Collection Launches July 31 at Ginza Cozy Corner
Ginza Cozy Corner has announced a new line of Pokemon-themed desserts inspired by the Nintendo Switch 2 game Poko a Pokemon, set to launch on July 31, 2026. The collection features two main offerings: a Ditto-shaped cake with blueberry yogurt flavor and a nine-piece assorted petit cake set titled the Poko a Pokemon Collection. Each sweet is designed to resemble Pokemon characters that appear in the game with unique alternate forms, including a pale-colored Pikachu and a moss-covered Snorlax. The collaboration brings the whimsical world of Poko a Pokemon to life in dessert form.
The Ditto cake is priced at 777 yen (~$5.40) and features a blueberry yogurt flavor profile with layered construction. From top to bottom, it includes blueberry cream, matcha sponge, blueberry jam, yogurt-flavored cream, and a blueberry-flavored sponge base. The nine-piece assorted set is priced at 3,564 yen (~$24.80) and includes a variety of individually themed petit cakes. Customers who purchase the assorted set will also receive an original sticker on a first-come, first-served basis.

The nine-item collection includes cakes representing Pokemon with their distinctive in-game appearances. The lineup features Moss-Covered Snorlax as a matcha roll cake, Pale Pikachu as a banana and condensed milk cream roll cake, and Ditto (transformed into Lapras) as a soda-flavored jelly. Other offerings include Squirtle with orange cream and soda glaze cake, Ditto blueberry tart, Bulbasaur pistachio cream and cocoa sponge cake, Pale Pikachu vanilla cream tart, Charmander vanilla cream and raspberry glaze cake, and Professor Electrode as a soda cream tart.

This collaboration between Ginza Cozy Corner and the Poko a Pokemon franchise offers a creative way for fans to engage with the game beyond the screen. The detailed designs and variety of flavors across the collection suggest a thoughtfully crafted experience. For Pokemon enthusiasts in Japan looking for a limited-time dessert offering, this July 31 release is certainly worth keeping an eye on.
