Pokemon and Starbucks Collaboration Launches With Pikachu Honey Drink
Starbucks Coffee has announced a collaboration with the Pokemon franchise, set to begin on September 30, 2026. As part of the partnership, a Pikachu-inspired beverage called the “Pikachu Honey Cream Latte” will go on sale. According to the announcement, the drink blends honey and caramel to complement the lingering notes of espresso. It also carries a notable origin, having won a “Barista Battle” in which six baristas, chosen from more than 700 applicants, competed with original recipes.
The Pikachu Honey Cream Latte earned its place through a competitive “Barista Battle.” Out of over 700 applications, only six baristas were selected to present new recipes, and this honey-and-caramel espresso drink took the top honor. The combination is designed to let the sweetness of honey and caramel enhance the espresso’s aftertaste, giving the beverage a character meant to evoke the electric-type mascot. It will be served as the centerpiece of the collaboration.

Alongside the drink, the collaboration brings a range of themed goods. Tumbler designs featuring Pokemon artwork are among the highlighted items, with a variety of other products also included in the lineup. The announcement notes that details about the collaboration’s full contents can be found through official channels and its dedicated page, pointing fans to where the complete range will be revealed.
The Starbucks and Pokemon collaboration is scheduled to start on September 30, 2026, following an announcement made days earlier. The timing places the launch at the very end of September, giving fans a defined window for the promotion. Additional specifics, including the complete merchandise range, are available through the special site. For Pokemon fans who enjoy themed cafe tie-ins, this is one to keep an eye on when it arrives later this month.
