Immortal Legacy Patch 1.004 Fixes Progression, Save and Crash Bugs

Developer One More Level has pushed the first official update for Immortal Legacy (《不朽遗志》) across all platforms, with the console build carrying version number 1.004. According to the studio, the patch focuses on the issues players reported most frequently: quests and chapters that stalled progression, game crashes, and visual display errors. The update is aimed at improving basic stability during play rather than adding new content, and it arrives as a maintenance pass for the action title’s launch build.
On the progression side, the patch resolves several serious bugs that could stop players from finishing the game. These include an issue in Chapter 4 where the game failed to save properly after the completion cutscene, a hard progression block in Chapter 12, cutscenes that would not trigger, and light-based mechanisms that could not be unlocked. The Chapter 5 side quest “In the Name of Art” also received fixes for problems that prevented it from starting or advancing correctly.

One More Level also addressed crash faults reported across multiple platforms, along with some graphical display defects specific to Xbox. The team stated that optimization work on the Xbox visual issues is still ongoing and invited players to submit feedback if they continue to encounter anomalies after updating. Separately, a bug where the patrol enemy Volunteer kept attacking after being backstabbed has been corrected.
On PC, the update adds a graphics driver detection system that displays a prompt when the installed driver version is too low. The studio says updating drivers can noticeably improve performance and stability. Error logging has also been reduced to avoid the slight performance cost the logs previously caused, and PC players who took part in the demo can follow official instructions to delete old configuration files if they run into performance problems. A practical, unglamorous patch — exactly the kind a launch window needs.
