Elden Ring Manga Chapter 89 Arrives as Volume 12 Launches Worldwide
Chapter 89 of the ELDEN RING gag manga Elden Ring: The Road to the Erdtree (黄金樹への道), an original interpretation of FromSoftware’s acclaimed action RPG, was released today, September 4, 2026, on the free web manga magazine COMIC Hu. The series follows Aseo, a penniless, memory-lost Tarnished cast into Limgrave who nearly loses heart in the face of the Lands Between’s cruelty. Having secured the Great Runes of Godrick, Radahn and Rykard at Volcano Manor, Aseo has reached the royal capital, with the Erdtree finally within sight.
The Road to the Erdtree updates twice monthly, with new chapters arriving on the 4th and 19th on COMIC Hu. The English release is handled by Yen Press, while Traditional Chinese readers are served by Taiwan Kadokawa, with additional publishers covering other regions. Volume 12 launched on September 4 alongside Chapter 89, giving readers a chance to catch up on Aseo’s journey leading into the latest events.
