Capcom May Be Hinting at Tifa Joining Street Fighter 6

Rumors are circulating that Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy may be coming to Street Fighter 6, following a series of leaks and potential hints spotted by the fighting game community. The speculation began when tipster RnK_Clan claimed that Tifa, along with Vega, Haggar, and Gouken, would join the roster. Although the post was quickly deleted, gaming outlet The Gamer noted that the same source accurately predicted the Season 2 lineup, lending credibility to the claim. Sources suggest a late 2025 release alongside a Final Fantasy crossover event.
Additional evidence was reported by Twisted Voxel, citing fighting game creator Moonsault Slayer. A recent promotional video for Street Fighter 6 reportedly labels Ingrid’s boss fight as “Visitor from Another World.” Capcom used the exact same phrasing for the Monster Hunter: World x Final Fantasy crossover, which many interpret as an intentional signal pointing toward an upcoming collaboration with Square Enix’s iconic franchise.

If the reports are accurate, Tifa would be a major guest addition to the Street Fighter 6 roster, bringing with her the potential for a full Final Fantasy-themed event. The inclusion of Vega, Haggar, and Gouken alongside her would also round out a diverse wave of new fighters. However, none of this information has been officially confirmed by Capcom, and readers are advised to treat these reports as speculation for now.

As of now, Capcom has made no announcement regarding Tifa or any Final Fantasy crossover for Street Fighter 6. While the pattern of deleted leaks and matching promotional language is intriguing, the fighting game community will need to wait for an official reveal. This is certainly one to keep an eye on for fans of both franchises.
